উঃ প্রখ্যাত মনােবিদ তথা অপারেন্ট (Operant) অনুবর্তন তত্ত্বের প্রবক্তা স্কিনার পরীক্ষালব্ধ প্রতিক্রিয়া দেখার জন্য বিশেষ একটি বাক্স ব্যবহার করেন। এটাকেই বলা হয় ‘স্কিনার বক্স'। বাক্সে একটি যন্ত্র-নিয়ন্ত্রিত ট্রে আছে। একটি বােতামের উপর চাপ প্রয়ােগ করলেই ট্রেতে খাবার উপস্থিত হয়।
