OASIS SCHOLARSHIP 2022 WEST BENGAL for SC/ST/OBC students : Run by the Backward Classes Welfare Department and tribal development department, Government of West Bengal provides Pre-matric and Post-matric scholarship to the SC/ST/OBC students of the West Bengal through Oasis Scholarship Portal. The objective of the Oasis Scholarship 2021 is to provide financial support to the meritorious, economically weak student who belongs to SC/ST/OBC category. There are two types of scholarship scheme provided by Oasis Scholarship 2022 students can apply. 

 

1) Pre-matric Scholarship for SC/ST Students: By this Oasis scholarship is for the students who belong to SC/ST category and are currently studying in class 9th and 10th. The selected scholar under this scholarship can get a total amount of INR 1,150 to INR 7,500 per annum. 

2) Post-matric Scholarship SC/ST/OBC Students: This scholarship is for the students who belong to SC/ST/OBC and are currently studying UG or PG level courses (class 11 or 12 class, ITI, Polytechnic, Medical, Engineering, Undergraduate Degree, Postgraduate Degree, M.Phil, P.hD, LLB, B.Pharm, B. Sc Nursing, Hotel Management). The selected scholar under this scholarship can get a total amount of INR 2,300 to INR 12,000 per annum.

 

Oasis Scholarship 2022 West Bengal 2021 Important Dates: 

1. Oasis scholarship Online Application for SC/ST/OBC Pre matric and Post matric new application and Renewal of Application is opened for the 2021-2022 session.
2. The last date of oasis scholarship application 2021 is 15th  December 2021.

 

Oasis Scholarship 2022 West Bengal Eligibility Criteria:

Pre-matric scholarship for SC/ST students:

1. The applicant must be a domicile of the West Bengal State.
2. Moreover The applicant must belong to SC/ST category.
3. Besides Applicant should be a student of Class 9/10.
4. The annual income of the beneficiary student’s family from all sources must be below Rs. 2, 00,000/-.

Post-matric scholarship for SC/ST/OBC Students by Oasis Scholarship scheme:

1. The applicant must be a domicile of the West Bengal State. Moreover The applicant must belong to SC/ST/OBC category.
2. Candidates who are currently studying any one of these courses (class 11 or 12 class, ITI, Polytechnic, Medical, Engineering, Undergraduate Degree, Post-graduate Degree, M.Phil, P.hD, LLB, B.Pharm, B. Sc Nursing, Hotel Management) are eligible for this scholarship.
3. Besides The annual family income of the candidate should not exceed INR 2,00,000 for SC/ST students and INR 1,00,000 for OBC candidates.

 

OASIS SCHOLARSHIP 2022 WEST BENGAL Online Application Process: 

The application for OASIS Scholarship 2021-22 will be done through the Online website. See the steps below- 

Step-1: New Registration for Oasis scholarship 2022 :

1. Visit the official OASIS Scholarship Application Portal,  oasis.gov.in.
2. Click on the ” Student’s Registration ” link on that website.
3. Choose the District from the list, where your Institution is located.
4. Enter your Name, Father’s Name & Computerized Caste Certificate (Manual Certificate will not accept) Number.
5. Now click on the ” Submit ” button.
6. Update your Date of Birth, Sub-Caste, Your Current Institution Name, Your Phone Number & Email, upload Scanned Photograph on this page.
7. Now submit this page to complete your OASIS Scholarship Fresh Registration.
8. A computer-generated Acknowledgment Slip will be ready to download, print it out.

 

Step-2: Log in to the OASIS Scholarship Portal:

Visit www.oasis.gov.in website again and click on the ” REGISTERED STUDENT’S LOGIN ” link. Enter your User ID, Password. Click on the ” Login ” button.

Step-3: Complete Oasis Application Form 2022:

1. After successful login, you have to complete the remaining steps on the application form. Click on the ” Further Details ” button and fill all the required information.
2. Now enter your Bank Account Information (Bank Name, account number, IFSC code) on which you will receive the scholarship amount. Then click on the ” Verify and Lock ” option.
3. Click on the ” Print Application ” button and download the PDF and take print it out.   

Step-4: Submit The Oasis Scholarship Application Form 2022:

1) Now, sign on the printed Application Form and attach these following documents with it-
i) Paste a stamp size photograph on the Application Form.
ii) Attested Copy of Caste Certificate.
iii) Attested Copy of Mark sheet of the last Examination.
iv) Copy of the First page of Bank Passbook.
2) After completing all these steps of the OASIS Scholarship 2021, you have to submit the application form to your concerned BDO Office (for Block Area). PO cum DWO / DWO (for Municipality and Corporation area) on or before 15th December 2021.
